General Areas (Living Room, Dining Room, Hallways):

  • Dust ALL surfaces, including shelves, tables, and decorative items.

  • Clean ALL windows, window sills, and blinds.

  • Change air filters as needed

  • Vacuum ALL carpets and rugs thoroughly, including under furniture.

  • Check pull out couch beds, insure bedding is not stained or damaged..

  • Mop ALL hard floors, ensuring all corners and edges are clean.

  • Wipe down baseboards and door frames as needed.

  • Clean and disinfect ALL light switches, remote controls, and door handles.

  • Arrange furniture and decor neatly and consistently.

  • Empty ALL trash bins and replace liners.

Kitchen:

  • Clean and disinfect countertops, backsplashes, and sinks.

  • Wipe down all appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher).

  • Clean inside the refrigerator, removing any leftover items.

  • Wipe down cabinets and drawers, checking for any leftover items.

  • Unload dishwasher, Wash any used dishes, utensils, and cookware, and put them away.

  • clean under appliances.

  • Check and restock essentials like dish soap, sponges, and trash bags.

Bathrooms:

  • Clean and disinfect the toilet, sink, shower, and bathtub.

  • Scrub tiles and grout, removing any mold or soap scum.

  • Polish mirrors and any glass shower doors..

  • Clean and disinfect faucets and showerheads.

  • Thoroughly clean area around the toilet and remove any yellow staining.

  • Replace used towels with fresh, clean ones.

  • Organize the closet and drawers, checking for any personal items left behind.

  • Check and restock essentials like extra blankets, pillows, and hangers.

Laundry Room:

  • Wipe down the washer and dryer, including under the lids/doors.

  • Clean out the lint trap.

  • Clean under the appliances.

  • Check and restock laundry essentials like detergent and dryer sheets.

  • Ensure any laundry left by guests is cleaned and stored properly..

  • Ensure a welcoming appearance with a neat doormat and clean entry area.

Final Touches:

  • Perform a final walkthrough to ensure all areas are clean and tidy.

  • Adjust the thermostat to an appropriate temperature for the next guest.

  • Ensure all lights are working and set the lighting for a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Report any damages, lights out etc. and items left behind to rental management company with photos if required.

  • Leave a welcome note and any necessary information for the next guest.

  • Lock up and secure the property before leaving
